Our normal lives aren’t going to come when we want it and probably not until the younger population has a chance to be fully vaccinated. So for the love of god people follow the rules, your healthcare workers are exhausted and at our breaking points. End of rant.

I so badly wish I could show people what I see at work. I’ve been pulled from the other units I work on to work in ICU because of the increase in covid patients for the next 2 months. The patients are younger and younger, with no health history, yet sick at an alarming time.

I held an iPad yesterday so a patient could see their family for the first time in over ten days, they were crying, their family member was crying and I was crying. It was one of the most powerful things I’ve ever been apart of.
