There’s no $$ to support families that have babies they can’t afford. But, there is $$ to remove that baby for neglect, cause irreparable trauma to the child, and give the baby and a monthly stipend to a another family.

This week, 3 students have come to me sobbing in midst of severe personal and family trauma. All immediately offered documentation to “prove” that their trauma was true.

I’m ashamed that higher ed has conditioned them to expect I’d accuse them of lying through tears. SHAMEFUL.

Chaperoned my 5yo’s first field trip today. They put a boy in my group and said, “he doesn’t really speak any English, so just don’t let him run off.”

Not cool. Is public school just not trying anymore?

I have like 3 sentences of Spanish, but he was THRILLED that I was trying.

On Saturday, I told my kids that I don’t like laundry.

Today is Day 3 of demanding that my 5yo stop calling my 7yo “laundry”.

My heart broke today when I learned of the passing of Councilman Manzie. Heartbreak turned to rage when I learned that @JohnHMerrill is willing to let a runoff election turn into an entirely new election (wasting LOTS of taxpayer $) because “ballots have already been printed”

Drove 2hr to attend an NC #redistricting public meeting because they only released the schedule less than a week before meetings started and this was the only time and date I could attend. The hijinx are already afoot. #ncga
