Perry Tian Hee Ng (30) 🇸🇬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 akhirnya resmi mendapatkan paspor Singapore nya dan menjadi pesepakbola pertama yang menjadi WN Singapore melalui jalur FST sejak Qiu Li membela Singapore di 2010.

Perry bisa membela Singapore karena kakeknya, James Ng lahir di Singapore sebelum merantau ke Liverpool, Inggris.

Sudah lama Perry ingin bela Singapore. Di 2017 dia sudah pernah wawancara dgn FourFourTwo dan bilang ingin bela Singapore.

Di Oktober 2023, dia bilang sedang proses untuk mendapatkan kewarganegaraan Singapore.

September 2024, dia dipanggil timnas Singapore bersama dgn Kyogo Nakamura yang saat itu sedang proses naturalisasi normal (bukan lewat FST). Mereka dipanggil untuk familiarization bersama timnas.

Di Maret 2025, Perry akhirnya jadi Permanent Resident Singapore. Satu langkah lagi untuk jadi WN Singapore.

Akhirnya di September 2026, 2 tahun sejak pemanggilan timnas pertama, Perry berhasil mendapatkan paspor Singapore.

Selamat Perry! Semoga bisa terus fit agar bisa berkontribusi maksimal untuk Singapore.
