On This Day in 2014…
The Miami HEAT punched their ticket to a 4th straight NBA Finals, taking down the Indiana Pacers in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals 🔥
Chris Bosh:
25 PTS | 8 REB | 2 BLK
LeBron James
25 PTS | 4 REB | 6 AST
Kevin Love on making Instagram memes during the Jimmy Butler and Miami Heat drama last year:
“I think last year especially with all of the Jimmy sh*t going on and just how crazy that was…I had a person in my life that said ‘you need to show more of your personality’…it was actually the fight in Houston, well “fight” — like Tyler Herro is not fighting anybody. Terry Rozier and (Amen) Thompson was hilarious…I decided Ima start pressing send…I wanted to f*ck around and have a good time with it…it was cool I got to play both sides — I wasn’t picking a side with Pat Riley, Andy Elisburg, Coach Spo or any of my teammates…I wasn’t picking a side with Jimmy — I was kind of playing middle of the line.”

I’ve been watching a lot of the Juco World Series this week on ESPN+, and it’s the purest form of baseball I’ve seen in ages. No K zone. No radar gun. Dodgy field. Just guys chasing dreams and a ring. I couldn't love it more. Especially considering this is who’s pitching tonight.
If you were wondering why Khamzat Chimaev had such a bad weight cut look no further. 😭
They were literally training down the street from one of the best strength and conditioning coaches in MMA my guy Chase, who also trains all the Kings MMA pro fighters.
Coach Cal was a math teacher for 35 years and did run a decent wrestling camp in Montana for years as well as do triathlons but that David Goggins type training method did not help Khamzat at all in his fight with Strickland the same way it didn’t help Tony Ferguson or Izzy.
Udonis Haslem said Dwyane Wade is the BEST teammate LeBron James has ever had in his career:
“Hands down D-Wade is the best teammate LeBron has ever had. You’re talking about a guy who literally had an organization on his back and stepped to the side when another guy came in…that’s selflessness beyond anything any other NBA player has ever done for LeBron James…we protected Bron man, there was times we would go to lunch and people would just yell out “hey LeBron f*ck you”…when Bron came to us — he understood the true meaning of brotherhood…

Mario Chalmers on what he said to LeBron during their argument on the bench in 2013:
“Because he (Bron) was complaining just about everything on the court. So the key matchup was him and Paul George…Bron was like ‘guard him’…we get back to the bench and I’m like ‘n***a we losing, all this b*tching that we’re doing — we gotta stop acting like b*tches and play f*cking basketball. N***a you the best player out here, stop being a b*tch and go play.’ And he took offense to that…what’s my job? To get everyone going…and Bron went the f*ck off didn’t he? So I did my job…”

But KD said D-Wade “didn’t have to do as much” for his last two championships.

I’m taking this version of D-Wade over current Harden.
