I think there should be Conscription.

Mandatory military service, to protect our borders, maintain our national parks and wilderness, or support/maintain any lagging area of our infrastructure, like helping us start our nuculear energy dominance.
It should be at 18 and be at least one year long, maybe three years long.

These recruits should learn life saving emergency medical skills, wilderness survival skills, and mechanical skills.
Each and everyone.
Our youth is growing up with no moral compass, no real world adversary, and no real feeling of purpose.
This will give a new invigorated energy back to the population to take pride in our nation, take pride i something you helped build.
I know I will get hate for this belief but you also know my points are valid.
