You imply that the reason Mayfield is getting sacked so often is b/c of Wills injury. Your reasoning is simplistic, and false. MANY of those sacks are on Baker himself, holding the ball way too long,

guy: personable, funny, etc. But cant mask weaknesses behind great running game, coaching changes, or distracted by the story of the improving Browns defense. there's some laziness there too, Baker needs to be pushed; if starting Keenum were a real option Baker might improve.

excuse can/should be given for any other starting NFL QB. footwork is addressed in Pop Warner or HS; if footwork is an issue, Baker should not be starting! Herbert, Murray, Burrow, Allen, all drafted after Baker, all much better/higher ceiling than Mayfield. Baker seems like nice
