Hi Bob,

The girls and I think of you often as we begin each day with Jesus is King and James 1:17. Such an immaculate scripture and words of such profound spiritual resonance.
Kudos to you for bringing it to the fore.

What you are doing reminds me of Jesus teachings in “The Beatitudes."
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called children of God.”

A quick story about the signs to watch for that Jesus spoke about in the gospels and we know that you follow closely.

Around the beginning of the year I befriended a man whose name is Dunya Khan during one of my daily contemplative walks. He is the caretaker of a home being built.
He makes a little over $100 per month to support him and his family of 6. The girls and I now bring him food, clothing, a pillow, blanket and other essentials as he sleeps outside the home. His family lives 6 hours away.

Last week while walking I began to look at the numbers on the houses. There is around a thousand is this area.
As I walked up Dunya Khan’s street I saw that the houses were in the one hundred’s. The house he caretake’s is at the end of the street.
The numbers kept getting lower and then I began to think is it possible, so I walked on and there he was smiling and waving as he had so many mornings. I shook his hand, said good morning then looked over his shoulder and lo and behold 117. I’ve walked by this house over a hundred times and never noticed until the Holy Spirit proclaimed, “Now’s the Time:)

I then picked up the girls who were also astonished so we could take a photo and share with you.
James 1:17 is continuing to spread. When we told Dunya Khan about this he smiled, raised his hands in the air and said Alhamdulillah which means “Praise be to God” in Arabic.
It’s truly amazing how all of this is unfolding at the speed of grace. Yes, God is Good. 🙏

Myself and family are absolutely devastated with the passing of Presley Gerber. He was such a wonderful and kind young man. His parents are the epitome of great, genuine, loving parents who did everything humanely possible to help him. This is a tragedy, one that has devastated far too many families.
