@hbo @DIRECTV I can almost guarantee the person/people responsible for transcribing the dialogue are non-p.o.c. For example "knocko's" being used instead of narcos because the dialect was misunderstood.

As I'm rewatching The Wire with subtitles turned on, I'm kinda disturbed by the use of the "-er" version of the "N-word" when the black characters speak and use of the "-a" version when white characters in season two used the word.
