@Stillmanator I agree but in this context would make perfect sense: VAR asks the ref what he saw, who says something along the lines of ‘tackle goes over the ball and contacts his ankle’ to which VAR says ‘no mate contact is shin high - I’ll get it onto the monitor’.

What do you think the effect would be if we made the offside line harsher for attackers? E.g offside if any part of the attackers body was in line with the defender? More attacking football?

@arseblog @gunnerblog Are you at all worried that we’re heading towards another period of ‘Arsenal don’t like it up’em’ as a viable means for opposition teams to counter our attack, given referees don’t seem to have any will to punish players for obvious and dangerous fouls on the likes of Saka/Ode?
