In case you stumbled across here from an old post/comment of mine, I'm largely gone from Twitter.
Feel free to hassle me on Tumblr, BlueSky, etc. I'm KiddTheManiac almost everywhere.
@ChrisKaue@valiantcrush RumbleSubs I think! I remember there being a whole ep parodying a JRock band called Seikimatsu and the subbers, bless them, were like "We know less than 1% of overseas viewers know who these guys are."
I'm 35 and the only thing about Gen Z that ACTUALLY ticks me off is when you spend several minutes trying to craft a detailed explanation or reply and they hit back with "lol ok".
Like, dude, you could've told me ahead of time that you don't gaf! D:
@Grand_JazzyStar Honestly, I just buy cheap men's underwear because if the choice is between $15 for 3 boxers designed for a "male body" or $50 for one pair that's supposedly female friendly, I'm just not in a financial position to do that.
I'm just saying, if you see every example of someone with unconventional clothes/hair/mannerisms/language as a sign of utter civilizational collapse, there might be medications that can help you
@textbookvillain Unless it's a customer or client-facing job, it literally does not matter.
The people at my office could all show up in their underwear and I would not care.
In fact, my reaction would be "Damn, I wish I was that unselfconscious."
@TrapperDStar Nobody in America uses that slur.
A while after I moved here, I made an offhand comment to a friend about racist old people back home complaining about "P*kis".
She looked at me for a sec and said "What the hell is a P*ki?"
@millivanillilo@Meshi_Foe_Nick About the only thing I can think is "eating the dead is the right of the living" (I probably misquoted that).
But even then, that part (IMO) is about cherishing your life and fighting to survive, not "lol eat the weak".
in case you forgot that it's pride month here's your reminder that like most of this account and a very good chunk of the scp wiki exists because of weird trans women. thank you weird trans women
@petermerelis@facetedcarapace Maybe it's just the way this clip may have been edited down, but it feels like a circa 2008 internet skit.
"Do I know you?"
"We've met before."
"Where?"
"At your house. :)"
"That's insane, I-"
"Call your home number, it'll be me."
"...Hello?"
"I told you it would be me. :)"
@Eldritchaphilia Dark Souls! My favorite boss I have fought is Gravelord Nito, but I love all the Bloodborne bosses! Any time I enter an area with a vastly different biome/feel/aesthetic is cool! I like wearing the Lost Sinner outfit in DS2.
