Every time I call or chat with @amazon seller support, my issue is unresolved. This has been going on for months. I have product details on my book page that haven't shown up on my page in months. Why sell on Amazon??

I'm on the hunt for a few good illustrators, and I'm struck by something. I realize it's important to me that brown characters don't just have brown skin. They also need the features of brown ppl. I'm shocked by how many folks get that wrong. I'm looking for who gets it right!
Hey- she looks familiar… 😆 incredibly excited to share this great news!!! Thrilled to work with @janine_omalley and @sknightjustice on this project, and grateful for the enthusiasm of my incredible agent @Miranda_Paul for making this happen!
What a year it's been for my debut book project! I've engaged consultants, art directors, printers, production managers & illustrators to bring my characters to life. So much to share, but most importantly, I'd love more recommendations for traditional #childrensbookillustrators!
This cute book by @HonestToddler & @tombabylon is one of my favs (hubby, not so much lol), incl from an #artdirection perspective. Several pages have dramatic angles emphasizing emotion, & they show how I can keep more illustrations w/o more spreads, w/"split screen" 1/2 pages.
I had a chat re the decision to illustrate one part of your text over another. Not always easy! When you want to capture it all though (I do!), this book by @SherriRinker & @tlichtenheld is the gold standard in #artdirection, w/spot illustrations & split single page spreads.
This book by @danielbernstrom & @BRENDAN_WENZEL is a favorite! It rhymes, has a chorus and features a funny story! I have taken inspiration from its use of unconventional spreads, allowing for many action "shots" and lots of words (like my book). #authorschronicles#artdirection
I'm working with my team (illustrator + art director) on the pagination and design for my book, and I'm loving learning more about the art of words and image placement to illustrate emotion. The Rabbit Listened by @CoriDoerrfeld has great examples! #artdirection#authorchronicles
I'm soooo excited to have a team to help me bring my story to life. We have a weekly schedule where we collaborate and discuss my vision, the emotions and movement of each scene, and the importance of each image big and small. This is the creativity I live for! #authorschronicles
I'm having a conversation about family names I can pass down to my son and wonder how many people have ever asked this question: "Well, what was his dad's name? Or is that where the slave names stop and the slave owner names start? I can't name him after a slave owner." 😬
(1/5) Today was extra busy, but I'm most excited that I finally put together a 15 min #BHM lesson for my son's classroom for tomorrow! If anyone else is presenting to their children's classrooms, here is where I landed. I'm doing a discussion re Africa
(4/5) I didn't choose the typical civil rights leaders b/c then we'd have to explain what they were fighting for (again 🤬 lol). Also, kids like planes and instruments, so I thought it'd be more fun. I chose the coloring sheets b/c there was so login or paywall required to
