@GavD_10 Yeah I totally get and understand that it stops the monopoly situation but I feel that if a player wants to move to a specific club or a club wants a player then that should happen a lot easier than what it takes with picks and is mostly dependent on other clubs the way it is..

AFL rule solution to concussion and holding ball rule;
Like Gaelic Football, tackle the ball instead of the man, less contact injuries and stop stupid decisions like the eagles game last night.
In Gaelic it would be 50/50 throw up ball.
