Hey fellow artists! What do you feel compensation rates for full page color interior TTRPG illustrations should be?

@SimonPapeArt Those are all things I factor in when agreeing to new client work but most companies apply a standard rate. Which is understandable whe. You’re dealing with hundreds of illustrations for a product sometimes.

I always use that example when working with new clients, if you want a battle scene you will pay for it. Several companies have shifted rates in recent years. I often factor in the project, the joy of working with the clients and complexity of the image. Sometimes I’ll work under my usual rate of the company is awesome to work with. I usually quote from 1000 to 2000 based on those factors.
