Canada has been turned into such a corrupt spineless dystopian shithole that if American troops showed up to take Canada over tomorrow a large portion of the Canadian population would greet them as liberators.
@MTW2478 I truly don't think he would've stayed if he hadn't won. But if his party still believed in his leadership I don't see an issue. Pierre has been elected in that riding for 20 years..they changed the riding...different situation.
In June of 2024, Auditor General Karen Hogan determined the SDTC (Sustainable Development Technology Canada) had mismanaged the $1B slush fund, violated the conflict of interest 90+ times and awarded $59M to companies that didn’t qualify. The corruption was exposed, the HofC voted to produce the documents to the RCMP for investigation, Speaker Ferguson even compelled the Libs to do so and yet they didn’t.
So parliament was paralyzed for months with this issue. Then came Xmas break and finally prorogation. Trudeau stepped down, there was a Liberal leadership race and a general election.
So now what? Is all that theft and corruption swept under the rug by the elbows up crew?
We haven’t had a functioning government since September 2024. Carney must get this cleaned up. We can’t just forget $1B from the taxpayers that enriched Liberal contractors and insiders 🇨🇦🚩🤷🏼♀️
Carney kicked a long time Liberal MP out of his seat in Nepean so that he could run there. He didn't give the Liberal MP a choice. A Conservative MP is voluntarily stepping aside so that Poilievre can run in that riding. See the difference? Don't like it? Good. Makes my day.
If Carney wins tomorrow, Canada wins. CPC will be forced to reinvent themselves & move back toward center. If Poilievre wins tomorrow, Canada will begin a tranformation in ways we can hardly imagine. We will be weaker, meaner & more vulnerable to US aggression than ever before.
If you’re still on the fence this election, I hope you’ll take a minute to listen
Canada is not America
Poilievre is not Trump
The media always has an agenda
