@9mmGlockGirl @Pink It’s truly fascinating to view the intense reaction to dismiss and invalidate, without any intention of asking the individual why this has been their experience. 🤔
(I’ve encountered a large amount of people that will be very proud of you. )
@9mmGlockGirl @Pink My experience with trump supporters is that they seem to be lead to hate. Hate their kids, hate artists, hate differences, hate anyone they think is getting something they were told they didn’t deserve, hate themselves…
@danwh512 @9mmGlockGirl @Pink Well, I guess we’ve had very different experiences. Don’t be so quick to assume that only one perspective exists.
Healing has nothing to do with how you think or feel about the person who caused your need for healing. The healing is in how you think and feel about the version of you they hurt.
Powerful. https://t.co/PDMnTR3PbY
Replace “attention” with “connection”and see how that feels.
People want connection. When we attempt to connect to someone who seems disinterested it feels bad, no matter the age.

I keep thinking how common it is for a parent to ignore their kid and say “They just want attention.” The parent is acknowledging exactly what the kid wants and is deliberately withholding it. Think on that.

The older I get the more I appreciate the people that make it safe to be sensitive in their presence.
It’s quite a pickle of a predicament. I’m relieved I’m not alone. #ActuallyAutistic #PDA #staywildmoonchild https://t.co/QnHvmfq4uz
Well played.🫶🏽
I told my 12yr old she wasn't allowed to make pancakes without supervision. So I come back and she's making crepes.
When I was 15 (‘96) I spent all the $ I saved on tickets to see this band, when I only knew this song. People thought I was foolish… They couldn’t understand how valuable just one song could be. Rock on you beautiful souls🤟🏽🫶🏽🙏🏽

You are not responsible to meet expectations set by others without your consent. If you fail to do what they want and they didn’t ask you to begin with, you are in a dynamic with someone who will interrupt every step of your healing, growth, and peace.
@nate_postlethwt 🙏🏽🫶🏽❤️🩹🌟Thank you so much for putting into language that I understand, something my nervous system (and soul), having been pulling me to be conscious of. 💜
