The Kuki-Zo community vehemently opposes any officer perceived as influenced by Manipur's Chief Minister #BirenSingh, whom they accuse of initiating a pogrom against them. They demand the immediate removal of the SP of Lamka, following the deaths of three civilians & hundreds injured. They also strongly advocate for the granting of Union Territory status under Art. 3 of the Indian Constitution as the only means of achieving lasting peace in the state.

When the #Meiteis raised their Anti-India Flag above the DC Office in Imphal, no action is being taken against them nor any suspension of any officials who allowed that. But when #Kuki-Zo people asked a question, they are shot at without any mercy or warnings! @UN @CNN @BBCWorld

❗ Repeated public sloganeering for complete annihilation of the #Kuki_Zo tribals is totally unacceptable.(Video 1)
❗The inglorious oath ceremony at #KanglaFort rather appears to be done under #duress as there are reported physical assault on 03 valley MLAs by heavily armed #Meiteimilitia leader Mr. Kourounganba.(Video 2)
❗While the #MeiteiMilitants were roaming the streets of valley Imphal with sophisticated looted weapons unhindered, the #Army were busy destroying the self defensive bunkers of the #Kuki_Zo tribals thereby putting the lives of innocent at risk.(Video 3).
❗And one can witness the heavy weapons mounted top of the vehicle #reminiscent of the war scene in taliban Afghanistan.
❗The following questions are pertinent and must be raised at the appropriate forums:-
1. How can non-state armed groups administer oaths to elected MLAs and MPs?
2. Isn't the egregious acts of the MLAs/MPs a blatant disregard to the constitution of Bharat?
3. Were the MLAs/MPs #coerced to take the oath or is it done under own volition?

The Manipur state force exhibited harsh behavior in Moreh, recklessly driving through civilians without regard. Tragically, one Kuki-Zo tribal lost her life due to these actions.
Remove the state force for peace and safety.
