One of my dopest moments from 2024 was EASILY being blessed to produce this BANGER for @BackwoodSweeti3 and to have @RapNoir from the LEGENDARY Souls of Mischief crew not only drop a verse for us but fly out to DC to be in the video! Y'all don't get it...from the SECOND I heard That's When Ya Lost back in '92 I was a fan, so to have TAJAI rhyme over one of MY beats?!?!?!? Maaaaaaaaaaaaan listen! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

Happy bornday fam! Prayerfully you're having a DOOOOOOOPE weekend on purpose!

[Uncle Daddy Wee-Yum @MrGee54]

Thankful for it all. God is good. #44 #ObamaYear 🎉🎉🎉🎉

[Kil @Kil889]

FACTS! I tell buls ALL the time Com's One Day is a PERSONAL classic to me! I would NEVER say it's a classic album but hey...what the fuck do I expect from a virtual crackhouse?

[NorthOaklandPolarBear @ah_keel]

@Kil889 I think the terms Personal Classic / Personal Goat needs to be introduced into the lexicon to show clear delineations lol

[Kil @Kil889]

Like Extra P said "fuck them two..."

[Brian Biggs @DirtBiggs22]

@Kil889 Never forgave Stoney and Rob my brother! It still hits different

[Kil @Kil889]

It's not on the album.🤷🏿‍♂️

[AO @itsagentorange]

@Kil889 Not even gonna count the SOI remix ha?

[Kil @Kil889]

Nah

[Midnight Marauder @Kamovitch_1993]

@Kil889 Soul On Ice is a classic. The Dare Iz A Darkside type.

[Matt @brightloud]

@Kil889 Bone - I think most folks like Bone as an idea more than a group that made albums outside of E. 1999
Brand Nubian and De La - they had much more influential albums, so these don't get mentioned as much
Beatnuts - No idea why people don't talk about this 24/7

[Kil @Kil889]

Same here fam!

[Hiphopsince1988 @rmizz]

@Kil889 In 94 I bumped that Beatnuts joint as much as say Illmatic or Main Ingredient. When I realised they were ridding each other on Props Over Hee I was like ‘yeah they’re gonna breakup soon’

[Kil @Kil889]

The glazing that goes on in this virtual crackhouse for artists who wouldn't get you a 50% off tickets to their show is fucking pathetic smdh.

[Kil @Kil889]

Bruh I've been there before the beginning and Miami Life ain't no got damn CLASSIC single. A classic single is a single that EVERYONE knows and trust me....85.7% of hip hop never even heard that jawn smdh.

[BeenJamminButton @BeenJamminButtn]

@020_420 @Kil889 He wasn’t there for Miami Life

[Kil @Kil889]

I swear only in this virtaul crackhouse is now Ras Kass a GOAT MC with classic singles smdh.

[420/020 @020_420]

@Kil889

[Kil @Kil889]

Good looking for this!

[Mask of Norro @MaskOfNorro]

@Kil889 It's all here, from Al's perspective - all a little shady; Intoxicated Demons started life as Al's EP until he went to jail

[Kil @Kil889]

Sheeeeeeeeet I ain't mad at that! One of the albums that R&B owes me is a D/Saadiq album circa '02/03!

[Antonio slim @Antonio_slim]

@Kil889 My dream collabo was me D'Angelo and Raphael saadiq

[Kil @Kil889]

Bruh I've been team #FuckStoneAndRobert for the past 42 years lol!

[Antonio slim @Antonio_slim]

@Kil889 I still get mad at how they killed my nigga

[Kil @Kil889]

No doubt fam! We all have a different criteria that we judge MC's & groups by. That's why I just said we have two different definitions is all.

[ronald anthony @ronalda62784817]

@Kil889 I can respect that…no doubt. When I listen to what he says and say through his skill set he's a GOAT MC, to me atleast. I rate him highly.

[Kil @Kil889]

Nah...not even in the running for THAT title.

[Frank TRÜ Morgan @FrankTru1]

@Kil889 Word Ras IS dope as hell with some dope ass joints but GOAT status?

[Kil @Kil889]

DOPE!

[Preach Jacobs @preachjacobs]

@Kil889 Where my name came from.

[Kil @Kil889]

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaan don't get me started on Puba's Fat Rat! I used to run that jawn in the ground lol!

[Colecash42 @colecash42]

@Kil889 Aw man!! Blast from the past right here! I had the Strictly Business soundtrack. (Fat Rat - Grand Puba) was my favorite

[Kil @Kil889]

Bruh I think I was in 4th grade so I was 9/10 when I saw this and bruuuuuuuuh....you would've thought Cochise was my cousin cause of how fucked up I was! I was like mom...I don't wanna go to school tomorrow & she was like why? I was like...Cochise lol!

[Brian Biggs @DirtBiggs22]

@Kil889 Cochise fucked me up bro! That one hit different

[Kil @Kil889]

FACTS!

[Own Your Masters✊🏿👑 @ThaArchitect]

@Kil889 Pun murdered this 🔥🔥🔥 #music #hiphop

[Kil @Kil889]

Same here fam...we used to BLAZE Just Another Case when I was up at 88.9!

[LBT/Animosity @LBT_Animosity]

@Kil889 One of my favorites. Shit had Ras Kass and Black Rob on it. Def Jam wiffed on this because Just Another Case I played all the time in the college radio days.
