Due to the wet weather our Penny Mile was held in the gym hall. Each class had to completely fill hoops with their pennies. We managed to fill 25 hoops! We will find out soon from @StVincentsHosp how much money we have raised. Thank you to all those who donated.
P7 calculated today that we need 80,450 pennies to make a mile! Tomorrow is the Penny Mile & Danceathon. Please bring in your bags of pennies and any extra donations for the Danceathon. Thank you in advance.
The Fundraising Committee calculated that our Penny Mile will be equal to 1609 metres. We started to measure it out in the playground-it is a very long way! Get collecting those pennies this weekend. The heaviest bag in each class will be given a prize.

The Fundraising Committee are raising money for St Vincent's Hospice. Soon each child will be getting a small bank bag to collect pennies so that we can make a Penny Mile on 26th September. Let's start gathering pennies!😀🤑@StVincentsHosp
P7 are learning how to teach and coach younger pupils in PE. They can then use these skills with their buddies in the playground, or help run a lunch club. Thanks to Craig @onerensport for helping train our pupils to be Play Leaders.
