In moronic news, we have received reports and inside coverage that @PurifierAzrael has been suspended due to a mass report campaign by wokehammer and local failure Fake-E account @Big_E_of_Man . Reports are stating that Azreal has been suspended on X for being mass reported for self-harm or encouraging self-harm, however there has been no evidence to suggest this. Azreal fought for an appeal and won, however he was given a week long lock on his account regardless if he won the appeal. We at Imperial news find this distrubing. We at Imperial News ask @elonmusk or @X if this is an appropriate response to this sort of situation, as Mass false reports have become too common when users begin a flame war with one another and one party decides to take one tweet out of context and state "hey this looks to be a good tweet to mass report" and even when the appeal is accepted, they're still unable to use their account, we find that unfair and concerning. There are two things to take from this: The first; we advise our readers and viewers to be aware that the failed Fake-E account is a harassment account who goes after users based on their political leanings and anti-Leftist sentiments. That includes normal individuals who are not a part of the culture war but were forced to be dragged into it. Second: this sort of situation is bad for everyone; as the absue of the report function has become continously a problem for people who make a benign or meme post be misconstrued, this sort of abuse can and will be targeted by shit-posters, meme accounts, joke accounts, opinionated accounts and accounts like Imperial news, and non-left leaning accounts.
