It's ok if they don't really make sense or are boring and are just there as excuses for certain plot points because the story is not about them!

@shotgunless @sean_gause The thing was playing Doom Eternal made you forcefully good at the game by making you play the exact way the devs intended. The game was harder but you learned faster. Now that things have changed players refuse to adjust. 2016, Eternal and TDA discussion will forever be this.
