The upcoming @hedgeforvideo PostLab will be able to do event sharing/locking. You'll be able to check-in and check-out individual events, and PostLab will create a new placeholder library. Wow.

@restlesspix Metadata tags like range-based keywording are very powerful, especially in FCP, but they are islands and if you don’t have a MAM, folders remain an effective means of media management. Whilst the media paths remain absolute too, I don’t see things changing.

@fborocyclist We have a contra flow cycle lane near us. It’s horrendous, a kerb divides you from on coming traffic and you can’t see at night because of oncoming headlights. But if you don’t go on it the motorists go crazy

@marcplanb @Vordio PostLab is an Elastoplast of a solution, the Library container is too big, concurrent working is tough, even with merge X, as the metadata diverges. Gets really messy when you are staring at that Browser stack, with a couple of almost identical Libraries open.
