@demoniicide Personal choice is influenced by people you were raised by and the people you interact with most. If those people were raised in a patriachy, especially in countries where women had less rights up until the 1900s, it's the patriachy. A massive problem will cause many more issues.

People need to realize the spectrum doesn't care.

Processing delays, struggles with tone, misjudging volume and objective thinking are all common.

Autistic people don't have to perform to save you the effort of understanding them and being kinder.

People need to realize that unless u are severely (like non verbal) autistic, being “socially awkward” is something you can fix with practice. Social skills are like any skills: some people are born w natural ability, most people have to learn thru practice
