I came across a post regarding this, and let me just say this now:
If you have hobbies or interests that you enjoy, then enjoy them to your heart's content. Don't let people bully you or manipulate you away from your interests. You deserve to enjoy yourself and have fun.
@MarvelComicsHQ Given how gimmicky and inorganic the Miracleman schlock has been, I currently have no hope for this run. Why? Well, for one, this was a very no-faith execution of bringing him into Earth-616, and given how much favoritism Zdarsky's given Colton...
@PartyLegal I've always felt the concepts of both Miracleman and Colton to be too far divorced. It doesn't help that Colton's actions leading up to this have been... well, not good.
@iREUS_SA I have nothing nice to say about any of this. Mid story functions as a backdoor for a superhero name grafted onto a man who is, at the time of this post, still a villain, and two decent concepts are now mashed into a questionable one.
Couldn't even stick the landing with this...
@MarvelComicsHQ Probably one of the most abysmal twists in recent comic history, using a mid Avengers story as backdoor, and jamming two compelling but incompatible concepts together for a character who is, as of this post, is still a villain. Couldn't even stick the landing with this...
I've voiced this before, but I do wish more people would invest in Jean without the Phoenix. She's an Omega-level Mutant with advanced psychic powers. She doesn't NEED the Phoenix.
There's a Scarlet Witch vs. Jean Grey debate going on apparently. These days, I'd give it to Wanda. The dynamic changes significantly depending on whether or not Jean Grey has the Phoenix.
Both have gone through changes over their powers since their inceptions, but I'd argue Wanda far more than Jean. A lot happened to get them both to where they are today, however, both good and bad.
Also, for the record, I've never played Rise of the Imperfects, but I have both seen gameplay and its story. The concepts do have potential to be refined. Still, it's wild to see this being referenced today.
So I'm already excited to see Venom return, but Rise of the Imperfects being referenced? In in the prime universe? In 2026? Am I dreaming? Or did I finally go crazy?
More Venom #1 pages!
Hazmat from Marvel Rise of the Imperfects!!!!
I also love how the interviewer is saying “Eddie and Venom” and Charles Soule is refusing to call the symbiote Venom. This is gonna be good.

@thevenomsite I actually can't believe Rise of the Imperfects is being referenced. Definitely something to look forward to. Overall, I'm very excited to see this.
@planet51fandom I have to say it... I actually find it both weird and somehow completely expected that Amazing Spider-Man #1000 is going to be a spiritual successor to One More Day.
Dolly Parton and Tim Curry... Two great wonderful human beings... I'm glad for the time we had with them. Thank you both so much for everything you did. May they both Rest in Peace.

Krakoa is trending again. Still don't miss it, still never will. It was supposed to be flawed, but I do wish more writers remembered that and addressed it instead of having literally every Mutant character act like what usually identifies as an X-Men villain.
@Makarimorph Truth be told? When I went to high school, anime wasn't popular either. I didn't care. I've always enjoyed the things I like with zero regard what others thought. Why let others spoil what you enjoy? But I did have some friends who enjoyed it as well.
And honestly, it's a shame too. Seeing how the two of them would interact or scheme to get back at Peter would have been compelling. Instead, Harry's "Venom" initiates a Symbiote invasion, which is visually striking, but kind of nonsensical. Harry wanted none of that.
For those who have played and enjoyed, I'm happy for you. But I can't bring myself to get excited. They really dropped the ball with Venom in Spider-Man 2. Heck, they couldn't even capitalize on the traits that usually make Venom.
Venom is both the Symbiote hating Peter and the host hating Peter. They work together because Peter wronged them both (in their own minds). Harry rebonds with it in the last act of the game, but the Symbiote immediately takes over, rather than both trying to get even at Peter.
