Over 300,000 households are in arrears on their electricity bills, a record high, just as energy companies are set to hike up prices even further while making eye watering profits.

FFFG & Independents refuse to take on the energy companies and end the rip-off to get costs under control.

We need to make life more affordable for people. That means long term solutions that tackle costs and provide immediate help with a cost of living package in this year’s budget.

Over 15,000 children waiting on an Assessment of Need have been failed by Govt.

Tomorrow, Sinn Féin, with other opposition parties, will bring forward a motion demanding that children receive their assessments within 6 months - as required by law.

FFFGLL have turned their backs on children. They must stop breaking the law and deliver the support families deserve.

Today, we commemorate Nakba Day. Just over 75 years ago, hundreds of thousands of Palestinians were displaced and evicted from their homes. Inaction from the EU on the genocide in Palestine has been a disgrace, contrary to their supposed values of peace and solidarity. In fact Ursula Von der Leyen recently demonstrated she cared more about burning trees than burning Palestinians.

Ireland can take real, tangible actions against the Israeli regime by enacting the Occupied Territories Bill and inspecting any airplanes that travel through Irish airspace. Shannon Airport should not be used as a pit stop for munitions on their way to wreak havoc on the people of Palestine.
