And @cooper_m didn’t even mention the stabbing @bauermediaIRL . , @TodayFM & @NewstalkFM were both talking about the match vs Israel moving to a neutral ground. absolutely idiotic given the tragic attack on an innocent man
Who knows the horrors that have been covered up in Ireland?...Well, actually, the media know & covered them up. The gardai & politicians know & covered them up.
Turns out suppressing the obvious negative effects of mass immigration for political reasons leads to beheadings.
*Scene 232, some time in 2025*
APPLE: Can we release Siri AI?
EC: Sure, if you want to get fined under the DMA
APPLE: How can we comply with the DMA?
EC: Give third-parties access to all the private data on Apple phones so that they can compete with you.
APPLE: But we can't do that, it would invade our users' privacy, and it's a violation of our brand promise.
EC: Then Siri AI won't be compliant with the DMA.
APPLE: How about if we give them access to a "Trusted System Agent", middleware that would allow competing virtual assistants to safely access the same features and capabilities as Siri AI?
EC: That's not equal access to everything you have access to, we want you to share everything, for free, that's what we think the DMA demands.
APPLE: I'm not sure that's what the text says, are you sure we can't talk about this? We don't even know if that's technically possible. We designed Siri AI to work with our systems, our private cloud, and on-device processing, we don't know how to provide the same access to third-parties from the jump. It's going to take time.
EC: That's fine, you can take your time, but if you launch in Europe we'll fine you.
APPLE: Can we start with the Trusted System Agent, and then figure out how to give you everything you want, that is technically possible, and in a privacy preserving way, over the next 18 months?
EC: Nope. EU law is non-negotiable.
APPLE: Really? That sucks, we don't want to Abandon our European users.
EC: That's Apple's decision, and Apple's only.
Gemini DOES NOT power Siri
Apple foundational models power Siri
Those models are based on Gemini technology.
It is not Gemini.
Apple and Google have been clear about this since January.
EXCLUSIVE: Apple and the EU are telling very different stories on Siri AI, and right now, it's a standoff.
Apple's press release and comments to @LelloucheNico say the DMA would force it to give rival assistants deep access to messages, files, photos, app actions, and personal context, creating privacy/security risks.
I reached out to the EU Commission for comment, and they discussed it today (video below).
They said nothing in the DMA blocks Siri AI. Apple can launch it if it complies, but it must give rivals "equivalent access" and can’t use iOS to favour its own AI.
Apple proposed a “Trusted System Agent” and an 18-month rollout to ensure only approved third-party agents could run. The Commission says they weren't "DMA-compliant interoperability proposals."
Whatever that means.
This is a standoff over who controls the AI layer on iPhone. The EU isn’t protecting user choice here. It’s trying to regulate the iPhone’s AI layer, and EU users are the ones losing out.
iPhone users can already download ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity. Apps like @poppysimplified can use your Mac to get system-level access for AI assistant apps.
The EU is demanding default, system-level access for any third-party app that claims to be an AI assistant. Which is dangerous, especially given Apple's privacy-focused AI stance. Apple, respectably, is not bowing down.
Absolutely idiotic by the @DigitalEU again. The EU's Demand: Under the DMA, the EU requires Apple to give any virtual assistant nearly unlimited, autonomous access to a user’s device. @adrianweckler@Independent_ie
There is a common misunderstanding that it is Apple’s fault Siri AI isn't coming to the EU. To put it politely: that is incorrect. It’s not about unwillingness; it’s a strict security issue caused by EU regulations.
Here is a summary of exactly why things are currently stuck:
The EU's Demand: Under the DMA, the EU requires Apple to give any virtual assistant nearly unlimited, autonomous access to a user’s device. This includes reading messages, making purchases, and accessing files without ongoing user control.
The Security Risk: Apple warns this lacks essential protections. Security researchers have already proven that AI systems can be hijacked to steal personal data (like passwords and photos) or alter account settings without consent.
Apple's Compromise: To fix this, Apple built a secure middle-ground called the "Trusted System Agent" to safely allow third-party AI access, proposing a gradual 18-month rollout in the EU.
The EU's Rejection: The European Commission flat-out rejected this, and every other solution Apple proposed.
The result: Because of the DMA's requirements and the rejection of safe alternatives, Apple cannot securely ship Siri AI in the EU with iOS 27.

Barack Obama was using USAID to pretend to send money to a country for “aid” and instead laundering it to the Cayman Islands
He would then use that money to fund and train “Rent-a-Riots” for protests to overthrow governments
Sound familiar?
Mike Benz on Joe Rogan: “A scandal during the Obama USAID era. We were running a number of rogue USAID operations in Cuba at the time. — I'm simply showing the American people where your tax dollars are going and how these things are structured in order to systematically fool you and to fool Congress and to fool the White House:
— USAID pumped $1.2 billion in, and we sponsored these activist groups and these civil society organizations to learn how to use Facebook, learn how to use Twitter, lose, learn how to use hashtags, learn how to coordinate street protests so that everyone knows where to go, what street to show up on, what kind of slogans to know, to use in order to create the pro-democracy predicate for it.”
He talks about how Obama funded a Twitter clone that would be used to push propaganda in Cuba to inspire these protests and overthrow the government (Mike Benz explains how Barack Obama overthrew many governments)
“So what they did is they took the exact same thing as Twitter, same user interface, same like, and retweet button zunzunio is, is the Cuban slang word for hummingbird. So just, it means it's it's bird, it was the Twitter bird, the whole thing. But the whole trick about it was you have to make it look like it's coming from the Cubans if you're going to do this operation
— We can get into the deeper layers of this, but contractors were funded by USAID
The data would then be used for micro targeting efforts towards anti and pro government users. In Cuba, the developers aim to, at first used non-controversial content such as sports and music and hurricane updates — What was the plan the whole time? Once they built up enough subscribers, they would begin to introduce political messages through social bots and encourage dissent in this, in this astroturfing — the whole point is, once they hit a critical mass, they would create ‘Rent-a-Riots”
“You're using Cayman Islands bank accounts. You're saying it's, you're earmarking it for Pakistani aid.” But the money was never sent to Pakistan, it was sent to the Cayman Islands to fund this whole operation
All this and much more is broken down extremely well in this video. This is INSANE
The Post below and all others from Lawyers for Justice are 100% correct. It is of great concern and indeed disturbing to observe a number of people who have now jumped on the bandwagon to further mislead and gaslight the Irish People into believing that there is still a chance some new Dail vote will remove the effect of the EU Asylum and Migration Pact. It is too late.Where were these people 2 years ago, when I, Lawyers for Justice and others campaigned VIGOROUSLY to get the Dail to vote against the Protocol 21 opt-in, when there was still TIME before the vote on June 26th 2024.We even endeavoured to have the matter dealt with in the High Court. The only remedy now ( with this current administration) is to seek an exemption from relocation quotas under Article 62 of Regulation (EU) 2024/351 (AMMR) before July 1st on the grounds of significant migratory pressure.Poland has already done thid and was granted an exemption. The reason our Government aka Administration have not done so is very clear as they do not serve the interests of the Irish people, as I have stated publicly many many https://t.co/Xpd3zrXM10 for those out there who genuinely want to help please lobby/campaign for the Irish Government to apply for an Article 62 exemption as stated above. We acknowledge the situation is dire, but campaigning for the wrong remedy is nothing more than a convenient distraction and serves only those who seek the destruction of our beloved country. There are many more benecial campaigns which can be undertaken to restore our Country and our Sovereignty ( e.g.The proposed removal of our Triple Lock ) even if we have suffered a major set back with the Migration https://t.co/QBdSSC4dYR false hope should not be one of them.
An Independent Senator has called for an assessment of the impact of the EU Migration Pact on the safety of Irish people after the horror knife attack in Belfast, saying “this has occurred on our island, which maintains open borders”.

@nwl88444048 We can't be too hard on them not knowing who's from where. There isn't a politician in N. Ireland or the Republic for that matter who has a clue who is in the country.
The national media has, over two decades, aided in sweeping the most horrific crimes under the rug leading to the breakdown of social cohesion & normalisation of brutality such that in the space of a week, there were two beheading incidents on the island of Ireland.
Activists in newsrooms cost lives.
If you were relying for your news on the Irish Times or the Irish Independent this morning - at least by just scanning their front pages online - you'd be blissfully unaware that we've now got ISIS-style beheadings being attempted in Belfast.
🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Barcelona has run out of money to complete their renovation for the Spotify Camp Nou.
Joan Laporta will request permission for this extension of the initial credit of €1.4 billion to the socios to be able to complete the project.

When @Apple start comparing the EU to communist China in regulation over AI, you know we are fooked @adrianweckler . Apple is by far the most trusted companies in the world and we as users are the ones who miss out over the @DigitalEU stupid over regulation.
Siri AI announced. Lots of interesting new things
Apple says it won't be available in the EU.
DMA almost certainly the reason. (Apple warned about this last year)
