REAL CHRISTMAS TREE SALE SAT 10 DEC 10am to 1pm
We will be selling trees from 4ft to 10ft on the next two Saturdays, along with really lovely handmade wreaths.
Please support local young people get life changing skills and experiences by buying your tree from Kilmacolm Scouts.
Cubs started with a bit of stargazing to finish off the Astronomer badge, then made lots of Christmas decorations. We awarded the last badges of the term, including Chief Scout Silver for Harry. The Cub Cup for the Six with the most points this term, won by the Blues.
Cold but fun night for Birkmyre Explorers Zodiac camping at Fordell Firs. Some chose to stay in tents while other braved the underground caves. Warm food and drink were on tap to warm up cold Explorers. Thanks again to our friends at JNI Scouts for an excellent night.
Scouts Christmas Post is back for 2022! There will be a post box in the Community Centre (Cargill Centre) or you can post your cards through the Scout Hall letterbox. Posting dates are Saturday 3rd - Friday 17th December, with delivery 18th/19th. 🎄📮
Cubs took advantage of the dry weather to have a short hike to Glen Moss. Thanks to parents who came along to help, especially Andrew who demonstrated the power of a traditional torch! Back at the hall we warmed up with hot chocolate ☕️

Explorers made French Toast and Bacon, One Pot Ratatouille with Pasta and Hot Chocolate. We also learned First Aid skills and heard stories of them being put into practical use. Thanks to Carole Allan and Jim Duffy from JNI Scout Group Paisley for leading the activities tonight.

Beavers had fun working as a team completing the obstacle course set up by Jacqueline and Alfie. Also taking part in the Pudsey snake trail, organised by Fiona.
