@Outsidersblink@captainshanky For a bowler like Chahal, you look at the wickets column, not the economy. And look at the average scores in the IPL post 2023, 9-10 RPO for an attacking spinner is not bad at all. Infact, he's surpassed Rashid Khan in being the best in biz.
Krunal and Bhuvi. We can't thank you enough guys. No love or affection is enough to show what you do for this team. I'm speechless and just thanking God for your existence in RCB.
@mufaddal_vohra NMS would actually be better for RCB if we reach the final. Chinnaswamy is an "anyone can beat anyone" ground. The pitch in Ahmedabad would also offer more assistance to our bowlers. RCB are better off facing SRH/PBKS there. The only problematic team to face would be GT.
I’m very sure about one thing: if Mumbai Indians decide to let Hardik Pandya go, they’ll regret it even more than bringing him back. If the impact player rule is scrapped, the value of all-rounders will rise again. I would absolutely love for Hardik to come to RCB.
@MohammadKaif Not bowling Chahal could be termed as a tactical mistake but captains don't think like "Oh, he is the highest wicket taker in the IPL, i should give him 4 overs." The premise does not make sense.
Hardik Pandya’s standout quality has always been his confidence to step up when the pressure is on, but he currently looks like a shadow of his usual self for MI.
Any other captain would have backed him to bowl in the powerplay today. But captain HP did not.#IPL
@ashwinravi99 Getting another unproven youngster when you already have a bunch of them is a recipe for disaster. Rather back the ones they bought last year + the ones at the auction. CSK going the RR way will make them a 2nd tier team sooner or later.
@DineshKarthik is a top man-manager with a real eye for talent. Very likeable too. Irrespective of how #RCB fare in this and the next season, I really hope he stays with us for the next cycle too.
As unpopular as it may seem, #SaiSudharshan needs to be in the conversation to get selected for India. Doesn't give the opposition a sniff while maintaining a healthy strike rate. Plus crazy consistency. #IPL
With so much talent coming through in the IPL, it’s getting harder to separate who’s better - everyone can clear the ropes and strike at 250.
It’ll come down to who delivers under pressure. #IPL
MI are def not giving Hardik one more season. If there is a possibility of a trade, I would love RCB to go for it. However CSK, LSG, KKR will be in a much better position to land him because of what they can offer. #HardikPandya#MI#RCB
Even if Langer decides that Pant won’t play another game this season, it would be completely justified after what he did today. Chasing 160 on a tricky pitch, the way Pant played those 3 deliveries was utterly shambolic. #IPL#LSG
As soon as you’re chasing 200+, KL becomes a liability; anything in the 160–180 range, he’s still the master. But you’ll get that only once in maybe five games, given the way the IPL is going, which makes him a net‑negative overall.
Of all the things I’m grateful for, RCB management’s decision not to go for KL Rahul beyond 11 crore stands at the top. DC were elated getting him for 14 crore, probably thinking it was a steal.
If you set likability aside, Badani and Axar have to be up there as one of the worst coach-captain duos in this IPL. DC have a gun team, but toothless tactics are what are holding them back. #IPL#DC
