I know the Artemis rocket is a cobbled together mess of leftover Shuttle parts and the whole mission profile is iffy, but damn it was good to see NASA laving LEO again.
@default_52 There are elements of The Expanse I'm going to cover eventually. It'll definitely be a look at pieces of its world rather than the story as a whole.
It’s been interesting watching my peers who grew up expecting the 2020s to be cyberpunk or Mad Mad realize they instead live in a bad D&D game with dark lords that sacrifice kids and make geopolitical decisions based on prophecies.

It’s been my experience that about 15% of people that dismiss “conspiracy theories” out of hand are well informed on the specific subject. The other 85% have a profound lack of curiosity.
@stainle55446702 It takes 10 times longer to watch a whole series when, after 4 episodes of the first season, my wife says "it's not good" and declines to watch any more with me. But the Farscape promise is not forgotten.
