No chance radiologists get replaced. A model is outdated the minute it is released.
Model usage costs money. A lot more than a radiologist.
Medicine is a business.
Putting together AI with domain knowledge is complex. When it can be the difference between life and death, who do you want building it and using it ?
People forget that using AI and trying to get accurate answers is a skill that will need to be taught in med school
AI won't replace radiologists. But every radiologist will use AI
@SelectOldGains@mcuban Just because an AI product has been around for a few years doesn’t mean it works.
Ask a content expert.
Watch out for the opinions of investors.
Marketing dollars can sway lots of opinions. It doesn’t make them the truth.
@mcuban I’m a board-certified Radiologist. Never underestimate the power of the human brain.
Trusting your life with a doctor is what we do.
Trusting your life with AI is incredibly risky.
Thanks @mcuban!
Yikes! Trust is hard to gain and easy to lose.
As a board-certified radiologist, I have been looking at blood vessels with a CT scanner for over 20 years.

@afshineemrani@altcap The radiation dose for our CT scanner is roughly equivalent to the background dose of living in Denver for 1 year. (Denver's background dose is higher than most because it is the Mile High City and 1 mile closer to the sun than most cities.)
@mattcoffin@altcap We at @CardiaVision recommend men at 40 years old and women at 50 years old if you have elevated cholesterol or other risk factors such as family history, diabetes, a first responder, weight lifter, high blood pressure, smoker, etc.
