Do you know what you’re looking at? BOOK VENDING MACHINES. Book vending machines with my art on them! Every elementary school in Stoughton, MA, got one of these and they chose to “wrap” them all with some of my drawings. Too cool. Thanks, @eileen_sprague, for having the idea!
I visited two amazing Chicago-area schools today and one of them made a “put yourself on the cover of COYOTE SUNRISE” life-sized 3D photo backdrop set and it was, in a word, *remarkable.* @CeliaKrampien
The endpages of IF ELEPHANTS DISAPPEARED were so beautiful (all those shades of pink!) that I had to forego my habit of putting the date due slip on the right-hand page. An artistically-minded colleague and I combed the pages for an answer: @lwbean what medium did use for this?
@thebookwrangler @APSMediaServ@AudreySofianos Love the display! I have a special shine for this book: I marched in the 1984 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 🦃
Thanks @cartergoodrich2 for our new prickly friend Hank. Always love my annual summer visit to @HorizonBooks in Traverse City. Their picture book section never disappoints.
