Radical Meitei women, known as Meira Paibis, set fire to three trucks carrying LPG cylinders owned by a Zomi-Kuki tribal in Sekmai village, Imphal West. The trucks, stranded at the gas plant, were being relocated with police approval. The Meira Paibis, acting on inside information, blocked the route and set the trucks ablaze.

These Radical Meitei women, once seen as protectors of society, have turned into killers, arsonists, and supporters of armed militants. They have been involved in raids on tribal settlements, hindered security forces from aiding attacked villagers, and secured the release of separatist militants responsible for soldier killings. They have shown no hesitation in harming innocent women and children.

Despite claims of normalcy by the @NBirenSingh-led government, peace remains elusive. The majority community continues its ethnic cleansing campaign, targeting the lives and properties of Zomi-Kuki tribals.

To restore peace, there must be a complete separation of communities.
