@OutlanderHome The review was deserved imo for the most part. She’s spot on with the lack of utilizing both the protagonists (read Claire) and especially the tender or even “in this together through it all” scenes between C-J. Now having said that, still plenty to like in S8!
@digitalspy Shame on you @digitalspy for calling this Sam Heughan’s drama. He is one of the two main leads. Where is mention of Caitríona Balfe without whom there would be no “groundbreaking” show?
@daviehollywoody Enjoyed it! The Big 4 actors are great & their storylines are engaging. The score, scenery, costumes all stellar. Only nitpicks are that it felt a bit slow at times, taking too many eps to resolve, and wanted more J/H - seemed to focus more on E/B.
@alohaimarie Mixed feelings is the perfect description for S1. Moments of brilliance, moments of utter bewilderment…Also hoping for a strong sophomore season!🤞
@viclyn120 Yeah I’m sticking with my original theory of Julia having taught Faith that song. Or maybe knowing what we now know, Claire’s sibling perhaps? 🤔
BoMB SPOILER!! Wait what? Claire had/will have a sibling all this time??!!😳
“Their paths diverge, with a pregnant Julia ending up living alongside Brian and working in servitude to Jamie's lecherous uncle, Lord Lovat.” https://t.co/iifEBam9Nc
