Here's a thing i built in 2011 with my neighbour.
I wrote all the songs and made all the visuals and then we built our own giant drum machine out of 2x4's and some dollar store knick knacks and a sack of piezos from aliexpress.
Short throw projector above the device to display the interface, you can enable and disable each "lane" of the music as well as the corresponding visuals, with some one-shots around the bottom row.
Exhibitied for Culture Days outdoors, it devolved into a toddler rave. Couldn't be happier with that result.

Yup, cutting down 850 trees at Ontario Place, all vegetation, disrupting 170 species of animals, at a taxpayer cost of $650 million, or $60 per Ontarian, just so that we can say goodbye to our public space and pay for a private spa. That about sums it up! #topoli#onpoli

The results of the world’s largest trial of a 4-day week (with no loss of pay) are out:
▪️ No drop in revenue
▪️ 65% fewer sick days
▪️ 71% less burnout
▪️ 92% of companies decide to keep the policy after the trial
The conclusion is clear: we need a shorter working week.
I just attempted to listen to a podcast but it was so badly scripted and narrated I just couldn't. Just because podcasts exist doesn't mean they're for everyone to make.
Not only did the Ontario government implement Bill 124 & knew it was causing nurses to leave frontline healthcare...but they also set aside public funding to give to private for-profit hospitals.
Make no mistake: It's all part of a plan to undermine our public healthcare system.
