Ten years today since we lost Prince… and it still doesn’t quite feel real.

There are artists and then there was Prince. A one-man universe. He didn’t just play music, he bent it to his will. Funk, rock, soul, pop, gospel… he moved through it all like it was nothing, like rules didn’t apply to him. Because they didn’t.

The genius wasn’t just the talent, it was the fearlessness. Writing, producing, performing, owning his sound, his image, his identity. No compromise. No permission asked. Just pure, unapologetic brilliance.

You listen to him now and it still sounds fresh. Still sounds ahead of its time. That’s how you know you’re dealing with greatness. Not just of a generation but of all time.

“Sometimes it Snows in April” hits just as hard. “Purple Rain”, his live versions, still gives me goosebumps. The guitar, the voice, the presence… untouchable.

Ten years on and the gap he left hasn’t been filled. It probably never will be.

Some of us can never see Bruno or anyone else anymore cos some ppl are locked in a place with a curfew of 5 pm. I didn't choose how my life turned out. Others did. Thank my mom for not setting up a plan for me before her passing. U'll never be forced into assisted living where
