1. Great journalism.
2. This is borderline scandalous. We were promised by government (City of Toronto, province of BC) that there were voluminous corporate opportunities to offset costs. That did NOT happen.
3. When a $300K/year hired gun is admitting failure & talking about “lessons to learn for next time” - it’s obvious people didn’t do their jobs. Terrible optics.
I’m trying to think of a foreign democracy that will simply give me tens of thousands of dollars in grants, & I get it whether I finish the degree I’m getting the grant for, & I get it whether I can find work or not.
This isn’t even debated in most of these countries. Want to come to school in Japan or Spain? We can talk about loans - we don’t give grants. And we don’t guarantee a job. That’s life.
But Canada? We’re being “discriminatory”? It’s unreal.

New information about China's Canada Royal Milk in Kingston...
EDC, a federal crown corporation, had loaned Canada Royal Milk between $100 million and $250 million to support foreign direct investment.
This story is getting better and better.
Overlooked in the Stat Canada report this am by the Carneyites who are jumping for job over the 88000 jobs created in May is the fact that Stat Canada hired 32000 of the job seekers. In June and July, these folks will be going door to door across Canada to collect the 2026 Census forms that still have not been submitted. The report in Aug will show the loss of these 32000 jobs.
46 arrested
164 wanted
1400+ charges
NONE of the 46+164 are Canadian, PR, or on a work visa. Just visitors knowing we have the weakest laws & leakiest border.
What are Durham Police up against? What are WE up against? THIS. 👇
I praise them for their diligence.
PBO is fact checking Mark Carney's budget.
Real GDP growth projected at 1.1% for 2026.
The budgetary deficit is expected to rise from $36.3 billion in 2024‑25 to $72.0 billion in 2025‑26.
Deficits are projected to average $4.6 billion more per year than in the Spring Economic Update 2026.
Total revenues projected averaging $1.4 billion per year below the Spring Economic Update 2026.
Personal income tax averaging $2.4 billion per year below the Spring Economic Update because of lower wages and salary growth.
Wow! What an incredible performance from Edmonton's Acro Crew! Congratulations on your Golden Buzzer! Alberta is cheering you on every step of the way. 👏🐕
SHARP REACTION: Critics are slamming Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's selection of two council members reportedly hostile to Israel, questioning how a body designed to fight hate includes individuals hostile to the Jewish community.
"Canadian Jews are struggling to understand how our prime minister believed this would be a constructive appointment," a Montreal rabbi told Fox News Digital.
COLUMN: PM Mark Carney can spin his annual federal deficits any way he likes, but a report by the Parliamentary Budget Officer says they're going to be billions of dollars higher for the next 5 years than he predicted in his spring mini-budget 37 days ago.

BREAKING: Carney blows through his deficit numbers again, says his Parliamentary Budget Officer today.
He’s on track to add $23 billion more to the deficit than he projected a month ago in his spring update.
No wonder Canada is the only G20 country in recession. He’s the banker who can’t budget.
"The sisters were among family and friends who gathered on Sept. 25, 2024, at Brad’s home in Beachville, a small community between Ingersoll and Woodstock, when the 67-year-old was administered MAID, a procedure that was botched by London-based doctor James MacLean.
Now, a year and a half later, after revelations that MacLean’s practice has had “extensive oversight” restrictions imposed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario following an investigation into his MAID practice due to two complaints, including one launched by Townsend, the sisters are speaking out about their experience."
🤣How many Liberals does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None‼️
They just sit in the dark, form a committee, add a carbon tax on the bulb, blame systemic racism for the outage, then declare “we’re building back better” while the entire country freezes in the dark.
This is the exact energy of the current government.
They don’t fix problems.
They manage decline and call it progress.
Watch @BenMulroney till the end 😂
Drop a 🔥 if you’ve been living this joke for the last 11 years.
Are you kidding? Why spread these stupid lies? I spent an hour with President Trump yesterday and he was sharper and more focused than I've ever seen him.
Here's the proof.

🚨 CANADIANS ARE BREAKING DOWN ON CAMERA
And it’s truly sad that social media is now flooded with regular people falling apart like this.
This guy and his wife pull in six figures. They’re “lower upper class.”
He just left the grocery store and he’s sitting in his truck, emotional:
“How are people making $60k, $70k, even $80k a year fucking surviving in Canada right now?”
He’s struggling to pay for groceries.
$5 broccoli.
Strawberries that rot in three days.
“Something’s gotta change… this isn’t sustainable for anybody.”
These aren’t the “poor.” These are the people who are supposed to be doing okay.
Liberalism did this.
The cost of living crisis they created, the inflation they ignored, the policies that crushed productivity and drove prices through the roof — this is the result.
While they lecture us about “climate” and “equity,” real Canadians are in their cars after grocery shopping, breaking down.
This is what a recession looks like when it hits normal people.
If you’re feeling this too — you’re not weak. You’re awake.
