On the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, PM @narendramodi called Captain Smit Machchhar a living example of Ahimsa.

Congratulations to Sujeet on winning the Men’s 65kg Freestyle Wrestling Gold at the Asian Games after a thrilling victory in the final. On his Asian Games debut, he has delivered India’s first Wrestling Gold of this edition. It is indeed a memorable triumph! Wishing him the very best for the times to come: PM @narendramodi

Yes, Sir!

PM acknowledges what hate would have been manufactured against India and Indian pilots if Capt. Smit, in spite of his valiant efforts, had failed to prevent the terrorist from crashing.

Word of the Day: Embarrassed

One month ago, it was claimed that women at Eiffel Tower were removed because a BAPS delegation was visiting.

Many in India lamented a global embarrassment, typical ‘Indian mindset’, ‘regressive Gujarati behaviour’

A probe has now found that the visitors never asked for it. It was ‘collective dysfunction’ and distortion of a message.

🥇 GOLD FOR TEAM INDIA 🇮🇳🏏

Defeating arch-rivals Pakistan again on the grand stage to clinch the Asian Games Gold Medal is pure sporting bliss.
From nerves of steel during high-pressure overs to clinical execution when it mattered most, the Men in Blue proved once again why they stand at the summit of world cricket. The intensity was peak, the rivalry delivered, but India conquered.

Huge congratulations to the entire Squad, the Captain, Coach and the Support Staff for bringing glory home and making over a billion hearts swell with pride 💙

[Amit Shah @AmitShah]

The Russian President Shri Vladimir Putin’s appreciation of PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s tireless efforts towards global peace brings immense pride to every Indian. His statement, which coincides with the Jayanti of Mahatma Gandhi Ji, who gave the world the message of peace and non-violence, demonstrates that India, under the leadership of Modi Ji, has today emerged as a trusted voice for global peace.

During periods marked by wars, conflicts and turbulence, Modi Ji has conveyed the message that solutions do not emerge from battlefields but through dialogue and diplomacy. India, under the leadership of Modi Ji, has always stepped forward with help and assistance, whether in situations of war or calamity, giving a new recognition to our timeless tradition of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.

This is the reason why India’s voice matters greatly today whenever the world faces a global crisis, and Modi Ji’s words are listened to with keen attention.

A nation stands with its heroes, and Hon. Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji has once again offered a heartfelt expression of this spirit.

Speaking personally with Captain Smit Machchhar to boost his morale and offering strength to his family is a beautiful expression of the compassionate guardianship of Hon. Pradhanmantri Ji.

Heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Pradhanmantri Ji, and we honour the indomitable valour of Captain Smit Machchhar.

In a split second, Captain Smit Machchhar showed extraordinary valor and focus under extreme physical trauma, averting a mid-air catastrophe.

This singular act of bravery cuts through years of persistent negative coverage surrounding India. Given the intense political polarization in India where even selflessness is viewed through a cynical lens, and where his heroism faced the risk of being downplayed or weaponized had things gone wrong, it was great that the PM personally reached out to uplift his spirits, elevating Captain Machchhar’s courage onto the global stage and ensuring his decisive actions receive the widespread recognition and respect they truly deserve.

Captain Smit Machchhar tells PM Modi that he recited Hanuman Chalisa during the Fly Dubai mid-air cockpit emergency.

"whenever in difficulty, he recites Hanuman Chalisa", Smit says

[Narendra Modi @narendramodi]

An unforgettable conversation with Captain Smit, filled with pride and emotions.

An Indian Hindu Brahmin Man… is a brave, selfless hero!

Every word in the sentence above would have triggered off SO many people in this country.

In moments of grave danger, true courage shines through.

Despite being seriously injured, Captain Smit Machchhar displayed extraordinary bravery and unwavering resolve to protect others. His valour helped save hundreds of lives and avert a major tragedy.

India salutes his courage and devotion to duty. His courage and selfless service stand as a lasting testament to the finest traditions of duty and sacrifice. 🇮🇳

[Hindutva Knight @HPhobiaWatch]

The whole world is praising the bravery of Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar, but you will not find a single Indian leftist, Desi Liberal, Congress coolie, or Indian Muslim making even one post about him.

The reason is that the pilot represents everything they hate:

-Indian
-Hindu
-Gujarati
-Brahmin
-The terrorist he overpowered belonged to the “terrorism has no religion” category.

This is 9/11 moment for them

[Ranvir Shorey @RanvirShorey]

Salute, Captain Smit Machchhar! Extraordinary courage in the face of extraordinary danger!
The world owes you a debt of gratitude! You make us all proud! 🫡
