At approximately 12:05 p.m. today, in broad daylight near 176 Street and 35 Avenue in Surrey, unidentified assailants shot and killed a well-known Surrey businessman. The deceased was identified as Binder Garcha (48), owner of Studio-12.
The shooting occurred near the gate of his farm. His residence, however, is located in the city.
Police have recovered a burned vehicle near 189 Street and 40 Avenue, which is believed to be connected to the incident.
Binder Garcha was a prominent figure in wedding and party videography-photography across the Surrey–Vancouver region. He had been closely associated with the community for many years and was known as a professional, warm, friendly and approachable person.
Binder Garcha immigrated to Canada from Punjab and, with years of hard work, became the co-owner of Empress Banquet Hall (Payal Business Centre) and owned Studio-12 Limousine. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, one son, and his parents, along with a large circle of friends and clients.
Police have not yet indicated any motive behind the killing.
This murder has deeply shaken the local community. People are extremely frustrated with governments and security agencies. The same question weighs on everyone’s mind: why are these acts not stopping, and people are at a loss about what they should do.
I’ve come to realize adulting makes you crave genuine companionship, whether in a bestfriend or lover. You just want to have one person u can rely on through it all.
Nobody should have to go through these things alone.
Waheguru Mehar Rakhan 🙏🏽 Too many young people dying. They come to Canada hoping for a better life, & sadly succumb to all the pressure. Plea to parents sitting in India, please keep your kids at home; at least they will be alive & healthy. 22 is no age to go.💔🙏🏽. #ManpreetKaur

There’s a particular type of sadness you feel when you catch up with someone you miss and realize that the version of them you were once friends with doesn’t exist anymore. You won't ever find the same person twice, not even in the same person.
🇨🇦 Top reasons why you should move to Canada:
1. You'll never be able to afford a house.
2. You'll barely be able to pay you're rent
3. Salaries are much smaller than in the US
4. Food is becoming very expensive
5. Internet is one of the most expensive in the world
6. Healthcare is free, but you'll die before seeing a specialist.
7. High taxes but still poor tax utilization
8. The cushy government jobs are only for the elite who are bilingual
9. Unsustainable mass immigration, have fun competing
10. Out-of-control government spending that continues to weaken our dollar
11. Educated? Too bad you'll have to do it again. Pay 3x more than the locals for education, but you still you won't get the job if you don't have "Canadian experience."
Please stay away from me. if you know DEEP DOWN inside you do not like me, feel some type of way, you’re not genuine, have bad energy, fake, a hater or just jealous hearted all around
hardest pill i swallow this year was learning that no matter how good u could be to someone‚ no matter how much you love them‚ they can & they will turn their back on you & there’s absolutely nothing you can do but suck it up & keep moving forward.
