@CTrbovich @RJBell3 What about WA football then? Eagles and Freo pay for WA football by paying royalties on profits. Other states/clubs don’t do this. Guess you didn’t know about that. The AFL will need to chip in if the Eagles profits continue to plummet. I’m sure they won’t like that thought.

@RFC_Centre @BigBirdsBigGame In this scenario the Eagles hold pick 1 & 2 without trading Reid. So it’s pick 1 to 4 or 1, 2 & Reid. Hopefully he resigns as there is always risk in the Draft. Plenty of top prospects have been busts. However if he requests to leave then yeah 3 & 4 probably is a good result.

@Markedw Why are you so concerned about priority picks these days. The draft is comprised already. It’s likely that 3-4 of the top 10 and possibly up to 6-10 draftees in the first round this year will be academy picks for the Northern clubs that probably all play finals.

@tshane80 Meek was pretty average for the Hawks mate, nothing in that game that suggests he’s worth the kitchen sink.
Agree that Williams and Jamo are struggling hopefully Barnett can show something when he’s ready.

@SweeneyPaddy9 West Indies struggle to pull a crowd these days. Wednesday start out of school holidays, grain harvest in the country areas and the test series build up has been underwhelming. It all adds up.

He was a flop but the rest have been mostly 3rd round picks since then.
Too early to make calls on O’Neil, B. Williams, Jamieson and both L Edwards and H Edwards yet.

@Cpcc15 It’s how you sell the deal in the media. Vic media will get it done. Players heading into Victoria worth one first rounder due to salary cap, wanting to come home. Players leaving Victoria at least 3 first rounders please, contracted to club, knew the risk entering the draft

@tshane80 Our recruiting with picks 20-40 hasn’t exactly been good over the last several years so would be a concern if we went in with a number of second round selections. They are going to need to get it right or could be a long rebuilt

@tshane80 Yeah everyone is tradable except for Allen it’s just a matter of trying to get something for them. Agree with what your saying. Be interesting if we had pick one if they throw a bucket load of cash at Ashcroft or look to split the pick even. Ashcroft probably to lions but can try
