Our first The @LegendofCD show was a night we’re incredibly proud of.
Despite weather that postponed the show until Sunday and forced multiple equipment setups and teardowns, the storms finally parted and we were blessed with favorable skies.
The fans showed up, the energy was electric, and the CDB veterans - and rookies - on stage were as tight as I had knew they would be, and the rank amateur singer and emcee - myself - managed to get through the set with virtually no mishaps (a miracle in itself!)
The stage version of hologram worked as expected. I’ll always be the toughest critic when it comes to anything representing my Dad, but it worked beautifully, and we’ll keep refining and improving the experience.
One thing didn’t go as planned: the side screens displayed the wrong rendering of the 3D model. An inadvertent settings swap during the weather-related re-setups sent the lower-detailed resolution stage version to the big screens instead of the polished, properly lit and shadowed closeup version fans were meant to see. We’ve identified exactly what happened and it won’t happen again.
To anyone disappointed by the screens, I apologize. But with new technology comes learning and bumps in the road, and this is an opportunity to make the next show even stronger. This experience is only going to get better from here.
The included graphic is what fans were expected to see during the show before the mishap, but I can promise you, the next time, it will look this good, or even better.
Thank you for being part of history, and I will always strive to keep Dad’s legacy alive in the most positive way possible.

Elon Musk just reduced American crime politics to a single question on Joe Rogan.

And answered it like it was arithmetic.

Musk: “While obviously not everyone who’s a Democrat is a criminal, almost everyone who is a criminal is a Democrat.”

That’s an observation about how incentives work.

If you’re a criminal, you don’t vote for the party promising longer sentences and more cops.

You vote for the one gutting bail laws and calling enforcement racist.

Every policy that removes consequences builds a constituency that needs them to stay gone.

You don’t protect criminals because you care about them.

You protect them because they show up in November.

The people paying the price are never the ones writing the policy.

It’s the working-class neighborhoods getting hollowed out.

The immigrant families who played by the rules watching the system reward the ones who broke them.

The small business owners boarding up windows because the DA won’t prosecute.
