LCC threaten to close care homes & day centres, risking vital care & jobs. Workers kept services going through underfunding & the pandemic. Reform UK’s council is leaving residents in limbo

🗣️ Please join UNISON North West march & demonstration to send a msg to Reform led LCC that while they may have delayed their decision the people of Adlington are still here, are not going away & we are still pushing for them to commit to keep Grove House open!!
@StagecoachMCSL Why is the 127 not serving Park Rd and the Common Adlington please? It’s quite urgent as residents will be stranded. There are roadworks but plenty room for Stagecoach to turn round still.
Lancashire Council cabinet member, Reform UK’s Graham Dalton part owns a care provision company (declared on his register of interests).
Makes you wonder, how can he fairly launch a consultation on a review of adult social care?
Isn’t the greatest look…

🌟 This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with Inspire Youth Zone and support young people across Adlington, Anderton and Heath Charnock from Fairview Community Centre. 🌟
Great news to hear that Lancashire CC is supporting the Rivington shuttle service again this year that starts on Sunday 25th May with hourly services on Sundays and bank holidays 🤩🚌
This morning I had the pleasure of attending the Civic Sunday for Cllr Gillian Wroe the new Mayor of Westhoughton.
My final event has been attending the Lancashire VE Day Service at Blackburn Cathedral. An incredible service and turnout from communities across Lancashire.
This weekend has been my final weekend as Adlington Mayor. On Friday I was proud to present @inspireyz Adlington Youth Club with £2158.29 raised as my mayoral charity for the last year. Thank you to everyone that has supported, it will make a brilliant difference. ❤️ #Adlington
I’m extremely proud to have been re-elected to Lancashire County Council. Thank you so much to everyone that supported me. I look forward to getting stuck in and continuing to champion all our fantastic villages across Chorley Rural East.
