I struggle with postpartum depression and anxiety, I’m on medication, my baby woke up every 45 minutes at night for months, I do nights solo, work a full time job, etc. I cannot relate to any of you weirdos saying “same, Lindsay” because what the fuck???? Yall are batshit crazy
@RymerAbbie My friend and I have babies roughly the same age and oh boyyyyy the difference in nights. He said theirs sleeps all night and they have to wake her to feed. I’m over here up 47 times every night with my eyes twitching like I’m so happy for you 🙃
Listen, you can’t force your beliefs onto others. If that family was not prepared to care for that child under those circumstances that’s THEIR decision. You were not in their doctor’s office or home. I’m pro CHOICE and believe in minding my OWN business
Late, but I’m finishing up RHOBH and I never thought I’d defend Dorit butttttttt Kyle sucks. What stopped her from ever saying “I stand by my concerns but I’m sorry that I went to other people instead of you”…. She ain’t no friend, girl
New moms, our brains are literally rewired after giving birth. I’m beginning to appreciate my dogs again after 6 months but the first few were HARD. I don’t judge anyone for how they feel after having a baby.
I feel like I can weigh in on the postpartum pet thing bc it happened to me. A few reasons this happens (specifically dogs) you realize just how dirty they actually are. You spend an hour feeding, soothing and putting the baby to sleep then 5 minutes later the dogs
Bark/sneeze/walk on hard floors and wake the baby, so you start all over. They get under your feet when you’re walking with the baby. They require a lot of attention when you’re already fully depleted… I could probably go on, but you get the point. Maybe be less harsh on
@iam_preethi I do agree with your point though, that women often don’t know enough about breastfeeding ahead of time. It takes so much time and patience. I wish I had known more!
When I started treating my first trimester nausea like a hangover (eating greasy food and drinking coke) I felt a *little* better. Protein, crackers, snacks by the bed- none of that shit made a dent. I threw up multiple times a day for 4 months 🤷🏼♀️
“Never have only 1 kid” okay well it cost me like $20k just to make the one I have and she has like 6 cousins within a couple years of her so….. this is just going to have to be enough 😅
I never fully believed how much having a baby changes your literal brain chemistry, and then I had a baby and OH BOY. If you haven’t, keep your opinions to yourself bc this shit is WILD
