Q6: This past year really pushed me to get more creative and realize that there are so many different "experiences" I can give my students IN the classroom with the help of tech. I am going to try out some PBL ideas with virtual field trips this year. #edu5213SBU#edtechchat
A5: My district is pretty great about keeping up with technology, but I do think that chromebooks are sometimes lacking in the area of keeping up with sites like Google Earth. #edu5213SBU#edtechchat

Q4: I think technology made us "get creative" with our trips. The little theater recorded some of their shows for the students. Many of our teachers came up with new ideas (such as Disneyland!) for trips.#edu5213SBU#edtechchat
A3: again, as a "specials" teacher I didn't really have to worry about losing out on trips. But I did try to give students virtual trips and support teachers who wanted to do virtual trips in their classroom! #edu5213SBU#edtechchat
@JaclynW41396542@ajpodchaski I have used the San Diego Zoo Kids website to do a virtual zoo field trip in my class! My students love it. They new just visit the website when they get free time. #edu5213SBU
A2: cont. they also get to visit the Watershed Center, as well as botanical gardens. All super educational and fun unique experiences.#edu5213SBU#edtechchat
A2: as a "specials" related arts teacher...I have never really gotten to go on trips. However, my students usually go to see the little theater (written into curriculum), Wonders of Wildlife, the zoo, and Silver Dollar City. #edu5213SBU#edtechchat
A1: Educational trips give students a different environment to learn in and experiences that can help solidify and retain information! #edu5213SBU#edtechchat
