@Ons_Jabeur You are a hero! I shared your tears about the Wimbledon final but also celebrate you! Thank you for giving your all and for being a genuine, kind, amazing person.
Mentors of beginning teachers will still need training, even in this time of COVID. You can register for the Mentoring Essentials workshop offered virtually for CESA10 educators by using this link. https://t.co/M4HYtnLiqK #cesa10#mentoring
#Thankateacher Teacher Appreciation Week is a great time to recognize my husband who teaches with passion and compassion and is willing to do whatever it takes to motivate students in their online learning. Thank you Erik and all amazing teachers and educators! @wiscednetwork
#WIEducatorEffectiveness When you have conversations with summary year teachers remember that even though you may not have data from the end of this year you most likely will still be able to have a powerful reflective conversation.
@chocolatetennis Inappropriate behavior is wrong. No one is to blame for someone else’s bad behavior. Mike Pompeo’s behavior to an NPR journalist was inappropriate and no one else is to blame. @SecPompeo@realDonaldTrump
#WIL4L School climate can interfere with school culture. Liking each other so much, and working to maintain those “liking” relationships can make it hard to have critical, important conversations or to look at hard-to-see data.
#wil4l We can teach kids who don’t believe in themselves and who see themselves as unsuccessful learners a new narrative. We must believe in all our students’ ability to learn and help them believe it, too.
#wil4l. The things that are hardest to measure are often the things that are most important! Healthy school climate is harder to “measure” than other things but it’s most important to increasing student learning.
#wil4l Thank you Anthony Muhammad! If we want it we can do it. When we wanted to put a person on the moon we did it. If we want to close the achievement gaps in Wisconsin we can do it!
Strength based perspectives...not harder, just a change from deficit based conversations. Let’s not miss the potential of any children because we can only see their weaknesses...#wiwow1819
