We know who’s really responsible for climate disasters: the oil and gas industry and their financial backers. If @RBC wants to be a climate leader, they can start by cutting Big Oil’s purse strings. #RBCRevealed https://t.co/VeeFDuM3mh
Who would sponsor a wildfire? Only the world's #1 bankroller of fossil fuels,@RBC. By investing billions in oil companies, @RBC is driving intensifying wildfire seasons every year. They rather the public not know this - so we're helping get the message out. #RBCRevealed
BREAKING: New York Times calls Donald Trump to ask him if he has in fact been told that he would be indicted — and Trump’s answer is VERY telling.
First, when asked by New York Times reporters, Trump initially said that it’s “not true.”
But then, the reporters asked Trump if he has been sent a “target letter” from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office notifying him that he’s about to be criminally charged for stealing highly classified documents, Trump stuttered and replied that the reporters “have to understand” that he is “not directly in touch with prosecutors.”
Do you see what he did there? It’s a typical Trump lie. Sure, prosecutors didn’t directly speak to him, they sent him a target letter. So technically, Trump can say that he isn’t “directly in touch with the prosecutors” and pretend that he isn’t about to be charged. But he DID receive a target letter — so his world is about to come crashing down all around him.
Even better, the New York Times report also states that “aides and advisers” to Trump are in “a state of high tension” due to Trump’s looming arrest.
Please RT and ❤️ if you’re thrilled that Trump is about to be criminally charged — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new Twitter competitor that is exploding in popularity because it banned Trump for life and because Elon Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account — but he forgot to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: https://t.co/HnJzSKj4Hp
Hey @WHCOS @POTUS@JustinTrudeau: wildfire smoke on the East Coast is just a glimpse of the daily devastation faced by climate-vulnerable nations. To fight the climate crisis, no country can be left behind. Will you show up at the Paris Summit with bold plans to #PowerOurPlanet?
@ChrisWalkerCBC Agree. Canada is supposed to be the "nice" country that lives harmoniously. Yes, and no. We are racist, misogynist, exceptionalists, and many more "ists."😔 And, it's in all political parties.
The sad irony: The "freedom" convoy actually had a lot of freedom...To travel across the country. To honk their horns all day & night. To party in hot tubs. To occupy Ottawa for 3 straight weeks.
Privilege is having freedom & having no clue that you have it.
@rebeccaamoah Agree absolutely. Pretending something didn't happen doesn't make it right, nor does ignoring it. Thank you for exposing racism that is ripe in Canada. #endracism#Canadaisracist
6. We deliberately ignore how the legacy of enslavement and indentured servitude, which took place on this land that we now call Canada for over 200 years, has informed Black Canadians’ continued segregation, ghettoization, economic marginalization, and exploitation.
8. White ignorance and denial sustains white supremacy. We need to start confronting these realities and stop deferring moral/historical responsibility to the US. We are no better than we are deluded by whiteness into thinking we are.
@SGaibrie Mild is a word used by those who are pandemic fatigued, unvaccinated and don't want to follow public health guidelines. It's also used by those that do not work in healthcare.
Retweet if you agree that Ontario needs to end the wage suppression of nurses during this deadly pandemic where many people are suffering & dying due to a shortage of nurses. #RepealBill124
Thank you Dr. Dosani for not bowing to the ignorant and uneducated people that have no regards for others. It's people like you that we admire. #IStandWithDrDosani#DrDosaniisahero
