Kimi’s Happy New Year Adventure: The Missing Midnight Spark
The KRC-20 universe buzzed with excitement for New Year’s Eve. On the planet Chronova, the Midnight Spark, a magical burst of light, was set to launch into the sky, marking the start of 2025. But just hours before midnight, Kimi received an urgent message:
“The Midnight Spark is gone! Without it, the new year can’t begin!”
Kimi immediately set her course for Chronova, her glowing heart thrumming with determination. When she arrived, the plaza was packed with worried Chronovians. Above them stood Tilly, a tiny clockwork fairy with gears that jingled like bells.
“Kimi! Thank goodness you’re here!” Tilly cried, flitting nervously. “The Midnight Spark was stolen by the Stardust Sillies! They love shiny things and took it to play with. If we don’t get it back, the countdown won’t happen!”
“Don’t worry, Tilly,” Kimi said with a confident smile. “We’ll get it back in time for midnight!”
The Chase for the Spark
Tilly guided Kimi to the Starry Fields, where the Stardust Sillies were bouncing around like playful comets. In the middle of their game was the Midnight Spark, glowing like a miniature star.
“Catch us if you can!” the Sillies giggled, zooming away with the spark.
Kimi laughed, activating her Aurora Voyager form. “Oh, it’s a game, is it? Let’s play!”
She soared through the Starry Fields, weaving between shimmering clouds and glowing trails of stardust. The Sillies were quick, but Kimi’s glowing heart lit up the sky, creating dazzling patterns that made them pause in awe.
“Pretty lights!” one of the Sillies exclaimed, stopping to twirl in the air.
Kimi took the chance to gently approach them. “The Midnight Spark is beautiful, isn’t it? But it’s meant to shine for everyone. How about we share it with the whole universe?”
The Sillies exchanged looks, their twinkling eyes softening. “Share it?”
Kimi nodded. “You can even help me place it back in the sky!”
The Sillies cheered, happily handing over the spark. Together with Tilly, they zipped back to the plaza just as the countdown began.
The Countdown to 2025
“Ten… nine…” the Chronovians chanted as Kimi flew to the top of the Midnight Tower, holding the spark high.
“Eight… seven…”
The Sillies joined her, sprinkling trails of stardust around the spark, making it shine even brighter.
“Three… two… one!”
With a burst of light from her glowing heart, Kimi sent the Midnight Spark soaring into the sky. It exploded into a dazzling display of colors, filling the universe with warmth and joy.
“Happy New Year!” the crowd roared, dancing and cheering as confetti rained down.
Tilly hugged Kimi’s shoulder, her gears jingling happily. “You saved the new year, Kimi! Thank you!”
Kimi grinned. “It was a team effort. The Sillies deserve some credit, too!”
The Sillies giggled, zipping around the spark’s trails. “Happy Bew Year!” they shouted, their playful voices echoing through the night.
As fireworks lit up the cosmos, Kimi’s heart glowed brighter than ever. “Here’s to 2025, another year of adventure, light, and fun!”

Christmas wasn’t a holiday celebrated in every corner of the KRC-20 universe, but Kimi had always been enchanted by the stories she’d heard. A festival of joy, kindness, and light felt perfectly in tune with her glowing heart. So when a distress signal arrived from Hollywell, a planet famous for its cosmic Christmas celebrations, Kimi knew she had to help.
The message was simple yet urgent: “The Starlight Tree has gone dark. Without its light, Christmas will be lost!”
When Kimi’s ship landed on the snow-covered surface of Hollywell, she was greeted by a trio of cheerful, pint-sized beings called the Yule Guardians. They were dressed in sparkling red and gold outfits, their hats jingling with tiny bells.
“Thank goodness you’re here, Kimi!” said Jingle, the leader, bouncing on his tiny feet. “The Starlight Tree is the heart of Christmas here. Its light brings joy to the whole planet, but it’s gone out!”
“What happened to it?” Kimi asked, “The Frost Sprites stole the tree’s Star of Light!” explained Tinsel, another guardian. “They were jealous of its beauty and scattered its pieces across the planet. Without the star, the tree can’t shine.”
Kimi smiled warmly. “Then let’s get it back!
The Yule Guardians gave Kimi a special sleigh powered by sparkling stardust, complete with its own tiny reindeer-like creatures called Starbucks. Together, they set off on a quest across Hollywell to retrieve the pieces of the Star of Light.
At their first stop, Kimi found the Frost Sprites hiding behind the shimmering icicles of the Frozen Falls. The sprites darted and giggled, trying to evade her. Thinking quickly, Kimi transformed into her Aurora Voyager form, creating trails of warm light that melted the ice just enough to guide the sprites into a game of tag. The sprites, delighted by her playful spirit, returned the first piece of the star.
Next, Kimi ventured into the Candy Cane Forest, where the Frost Sprites had built an intricate maze of peppermint-striped trees. The air smelled sweet, and the ground sparkled with sugar snow. Kimi used her glowing heart to illuminate the maze, guiding herself through twists and turns until she found the sprites. They laughed and danced, handing over the second piece of the star.
Finally, Kimi soared into the Sky of Snowflakes, a dazzling expanse where giant, glowing snowflakes floated like clouds. The Frost Sprites flitted from flake to flake, challenging Kimi to catch them. She transformed into her Starbound Guardian form, sending out gentle waves of light that created a brilliant aurora across the sky. Enchanted by the display, the sprites surrendered the final piece of the star.
With all the pieces of the Star of Light in hand, Kimi returned to the Starlight Tree, a towering evergreen covered in glittering ornaments and shimmering garlands. A crowd of Hollywellians had gathered, their faces filled with hope as Kimi approached the tree.
She placed the restored star at the top, her glowing heart pulsing brighter than ever. The star absorbed her light and exploded in a cascade of radiance, illuminating the tree and the entire planet. The Starlight Tree glowed with warmth and beauty, sending beams of joy and peace across the universe.
Cheers erupted from the crowd as snow began to fall in soft, sparkling flakes. Jingle and the other Yule Guardians danced around Kimi, their bells jingling merrily.
“You’ve saved Christmas, Kimi!” Jingle exclaimed. “The Starlight Tree shines again because of you.”
Kimi smiled, her heart glowing warmly. “Christmas is about more than just light, it’s about the joy and kindness we share with each other. I’m just happy I could help.”
As the festivities began, Kimi joined in the celebration, sipping hot cocoa, singing carols, and exchanging gifts with the people of Hollywell. For one night, she let herself bask in the warmth of the holiday spirit, knowing her journey would always carry the light of Christmas with her.

“I’ve been waiting for you, Kimi,” the Paradox said, its voice layered with countless echoes. “You are your father’s legacy, but also his greatest mistake. Surrender the Cosmic Core, and I may spare this universe.”
Kimi clenched her fists, her heart blazing defiantly. “You’ll have to take it from me.”
The Paradox roared, sending waves of destabilizing energy through the chamber. Kimi transformed into her Nova Sentinelform, her body radiating light that pushed back against the darkness. Her heart flared, releasing bursts of cosmic energy that illuminated the battlefield, but the Paradox absorbed the light, growing stronger with each attack.
“You cannot defeat me with brute force,” it mocked. “Your light feeds the void.”
Realizing she couldn’t rely on raw power alone, Kimi retreated into the glowing tree’s embrace. She reached out to Orin, who stood nearby, his face etched with determination. “There must be a way to outsmart it,” she said.
Orin pointed to the Cosmic Core fragment embedded in her chest. “The Core is both creation and destruction. To defeat the Paradox, you must harmonize with its nature. Embrace the balance.”
The words resonated within Kimi. Closing her eyes, she let her heart dim, pulling her light inward. The Paradox hesitated, its form flickering as it sensed the change.
Kimi stepped forward, her glowing heart now a soft, steady pulse. “You feed on imbalance,” she said, her voice calm. “But what happens when there’s nothing to consume?”
The Paradox lunged, but Kimi released a surge of balanced energy, a perfect blend of light and shadow. The wave struck the Paradox, unraveling its chaotic form. It let out a final, distorted cry as it dissolved into nothingness, leaving behind a faint shimmer of stardust.
The chamber brightened, and the Cosmic Tree’s branches grew stronger, their light weaving through the enclave. Orin approached, his expression one of awe. “You’ve done it, Kimi. The Paradox is no more.”
But Kimi’s victory felt bittersweet. Her heart, though still glowing, now carried an unfamiliar weight. “This isn’t over,” she said softly. “The Paradox’s destruction is only the beginning. I have to learn more about the Core and my father’s true mission.”
Orin nodded, placing a hand on her shoulder. “The path ahead will be perilous, but you are not alone. The Martian Enclave stands with you.”
As Kimi gazed at the universe map within the tree, a new destination revealed itself: the Celestial Archives, a hidden repository of knowledge said to contain the secrets of the KRC-20 universe.
Her journey wasn’t over, it was only just beginning.
