A Dubai CV should make three things obvious fast:
1. What role you are targeting
2. What results you have delivered
3. Whether you fit UAE hiring expectations

@merishabh_singh An immediate joiner ask usually means a backfill with budget already burning, so you hold more leverage than it feels. Candidates who answer 'I can join in 30 days if you cover my buyout' get it paid more often than they expect. Those who scramble out in 15 days pay it.
@RemotejobWtessy The repetitive tasks are the audition. Remote managers cannot watch you work, so they judge on whether the spreadsheet was right and on time three months running. Reliable with the dull work gets you the interesting work first. That handover is the promotion nobody announces.
If a manager tells an employee to fix a “bad attitude”, the employee still does not know what to change.
Name the behaviour: three late shift handovers in one week, each missing the cash variance. Then give the expected standard and a review date.
A label cannot be corrected.
If your CV says “reduced food waste by 20%”, add the starting point and period.
“From AED 40,000 to AED 32,000 a month in six months” gives a recruiter something they can judge.
A percentage without a baseline can hide the size of the result.
Introducing Claude Sonnet 5.5, the second model in the Claude 5.5 family.
It’s a clear upgrade over Sonnet 5, runs more than 30% faster, and costs up to 30% less for most work.
Before giving a former manager’s name as a referee, ask how their company handles reference checks.
The request may go to HR, with the reply limited to your title and employment dates. Find out before the recruiter calls.
If a recruiter asks for your salary expectation, ask one question before giving a number: “Does the range mean basic salary or the full monthly package?”
AED 12,000 basic plus housing is a different offer from AED 12,000 including every allowance. Answer in the same format.
@brianOmosa9 It's okay. It's not your loss. It's their loss, as they don't know what talent they missed by not giving you a chance.

Before you resign on a verbal offer, ask for the written terms.
Check the pay, work location, start date and any conditions. Give notice against the document, not a call you may remember differently.
A CV shared with several recruiters should not carry your Emirates ID number.
Leave it off. Share identity documents later through a recruitment channel you have checked.
@Saekeiya088 Oh, I forgot: also don’t fall into that usual trap of being told to follow your passion. Ensure the “why” behind of becoming an artist is clearly defined.
@ZeroLena85 The last question of the day is usually 'anything else?'. Have a two-line answer ready that says why you want this one, not any job. Panels remember the candidate who sounded like they chose them.
@Saekeiya088 Ask your employer for four days a week before you resign. Most managers say yes rather than rehire, and that paid day tells you whether the art sells before the salary stops.
@scaling01 Check back in a month. The first tool a convert builds is a toy that works. The second is where he has to read code he did not write, and that is where most people either learn or quietly stop. Building alone in the evenings, my second tool taught me more than the first.
@simonsquibb If you chose my dream, I’d use the support to give one finished book the launch it never had: international publicity, targeted reader outreach and wider distribution.
The book already exists. I need help getting it read.
@simonsquibb Simon, my dream is to make one of my books a bestseller.
In 2010, I paid a UK publisher £4,000. The book was never published. I tried again with other publishers. This year, I finally self-published.
My August royalties were $4.44.
I’m still chasing the dream, 16 years later.
