The Trail Blazers are open to trading multiple starters and future draft picks to the Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo, even without him signing off on staying long-term, per @ShamsCharania.
New owner Tom Dundon is trying to make a massive splash by acquiring Giannis.
@DannyMarang Basically any top 10-15 player. Outside of those 3, I would go for KD or Kawhi if they could be had for JG/Shae and 2 or 3 picks. I also, low-key would pursue Chet fairly hard for a similar package.
@KevinOConnor He is an elite role player that is being miscast as a star because of injuries and the weird way the media feels like they need to prop up decent players on great teams.
@TwoForOneTalk@elliotsharron That part has been known since before the deadline. The most important part of the Haynes news is that he says Giannis would consider Portland. That has been the potential hangup all along. Giannis and Haynes are tight.
@ToreyJonesYT I would imagine Milwaukee would want a far out pick as well. Those best of three teams picks with the new lottery rules are very valuable though.
Funny thing is Hart, OG, and Mikal were like 3 of the guys he encouraged the Portland front office to trade for over his last couple of years before the Bucks trade. Hart was obviously there for a short time. Point is he understood the type of players he needed around him then.
There is genuinely something amiss with the voters
The entire point of having journalists vote is to protect the integrity and somehow we are getting
- 2 people who didnโt vote for Cade to make ANY of the 3 all-nba teams
- 9 people didnโt vote Luka as 1st team?
- a vote for Stephon Castle as All-NBA 2nd team (what?!? are we doing here)
- votes for Flagg and Ingram as All-NBA this season?
Thereโs so much wrong with this, itโs honestly laughable
