@crankyoldman55 I agree! We must acknowledge lots of people are protesting peacefully and not only minority groups are looting. Looting would occur even if people were specifically protesting violence against white people - opportunists take advantage without regard to the cause.

@crankyoldman55 Equally, we’re protesting police brutality which is applicable to a person of any colour who has wrongly suffered at the hands of police.
The problem is black people are unfairly treated and discriminated against - George Floyds death has been the catalyst for social equality.

@crankyoldman55 So only 13.4% of the American population is black, in comparison to 76.5% being white. If we scaled this to 50-50, then the 235 black lives would become significantly higher than the 370 white lives taken in 2019.
