In 2008, the world gave #China a pass for its gross human rights abuses with the Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Since then, the #CCP’s authoritarianism has only escalated.
Enough is enough. We must not make the same mistake again. #BoycottBeijing2022
Wow -what a privilege. I feel very humbled to be described so generously, and privileged to be invited to join #FridaysForFreedom for #HongKong outside the Chinese Embassy at 5pm today
Thank you @NOW4humanity for inviting me 👇
Alongside Australia, Canada, New Zealand & US we have made clear our grave concern at the postponement of Hong Kong’s elections & unjust disqualification of opposition candidates. Authorities must uphold democratic rights & freedoms enshrined in Basic Law

Today, I woke up to media reports that I am a wanted fugitive.
My alleged crimes? “Inciting secession” & “colluding with foreign powers” under HK's National Security Law.
Except I am an American citizen & have been for 25 years.
12 pro-democracy legislative council candidates are disqualified TODAY. MORE to come tmr. Most of the candidates from the camp are expected to be barred. The govt is constructing a CCP assembly in Legco to eliminate most of the opposition voice. Outrageous.
#HONGKONG
BREAKING: Mass disqualifications of democratic candidates in #HongKong happening right now.
Another hammer-blow to Hong King’s autonomy.
“Lifeboat” policies have clearly been inadequate to curb Beijing’s bullying. It’s time for coordinated sanctions.
Absolutely shocked that two UK Citizens are behind the police brutality in #hongkong where innocent ppl where murdered and raped inside the @hkpoliceforce stations. I will get justice in our UK Court of Law against these two criminals
