@KathyRoman Better explanation is the Ariane 6 deorbit burn from the launch earlier tonight. It was launched from French Guyana into a northern trajectory (south to north orbit).
@FedExHelp Was waiting all day for three packages to be delivered, only to have them never show up and to be told they were “attempted to be delivered”. The driver literally drove by my house after making a delivery down the street. Is this laziness on the drivers part or something else? Have had nothing but issues lately with deliveries from the Edmond, OK location.
@ElonAssistant@thenewarea51 The strip is a little over 500 miles long. If it’s for refueling for aircraft enroute to somewhere, you don’t want them flying to wrong direction just to get gas. This allows them (if that’s what it’s for) to maintain their heading / route while getting gas.
@tcamp202 @thenewarea51 They do it mainly for the altitude deconfliction. If there were to be an emergency breakaway, the tanker will climb and the receiver will descend fairly rapidly to make space between the two and they don’t want to have to worry about air traffic below or above them.
@thenewarea51 Any thoughts on this one flying over Saudi Arabia? Not only is it kind of far from home, but why would a Russian missile telemetry aircraft be down in those parts?
That is showing a predicted path (white line) versus the actual path (green line). British Airways has been remaining well clear of Iranian / Iraqi airspace for the past 5 years, choosing to go north and then through Afghanistan or through the Mediterranean and then Saudi Arabia on those routes.
@rahuljaitley@BigJetTVLIVE Good! Looks like you found out that wing flaps change a wings camber to allow for more lift generation at lower speeds, not the redirection of engine thrust. Glad you were able to learn something. Now you can take your own advice from your previous comment.
So you’re trying to tell me you didn’t type :
“Flaps need to be down to ascend so that engine thrust is pushed downwards from the wings and the plane climbs up in the process wings helping it fly while the flaps help create the downward force for ascend.”
Do some research, learn ehat flaps do on aircraft and try again.
@rahuljaitley@BigJetTVLIVE Read up on what wing flaps do and try your analysis again. Just a hint, they have no relationship with engine thrust whatsoever.
